Economics, Agriculture, and More

About

I am an assistant professor of Agricultural and Consumer Economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  I received my PhD from MIT in 2005 and then spent 5 years as an assistant professor at the University of Maryland.  I started at the University of Illinois in 2010.  My research focuses on food production and policy.

This blog reflects my informed personal opinions.  It does not necessarily represent the opinions of my department–Agricultural and Consumer Economics–or the University of Illinois.  Nor does it represent the opinion of any other organization with which I am affiliated.
